Taking photos at Avignon en fête
Check on-site instructions before photographing an installation. Rules on flash, tripods and professional photography are still to be confirmed.

Keep phone photography simple
Clean the lens before your visit. For an illuminated scene, tap the important part of the picture and lower exposure slightly if lights appear washed out. Hold the phone steady with both hands and try a few shots without excessive zoom. These are general suggestions to adapt to your device and the venue’s rules.
Keep the visitor route moving
Step out of the way to review pictures, and avoid blocking an entrance for a group shot. Ask permission before photographing people at close range. For filming, an organised shoot or a press visit, contact the team in advance. A visitor ticket does not provide professional production permission.
Before you go
- Check the photography rules.
- Bring enough battery charge and storage.
- Keep entrances and walkways clear.
