French school holiday dates
The Education Ministry’s calendar for zones A, B and C puts the end of classes on Saturday 19 December 2026 and the return on Monday 4 January 2027. Pupils without Saturday classes start their holiday after Friday’s lessons. The announced event closing date, 3 January, is therefore the day before school resumes.
Choose a specific visit date
Pick a few possible dates, then check the confirmed opening times for each venue. The overall event period does not mean every activity operates at the same times daily. Check arrangements specifically for 24, 25 and 31 December and 1 January. This page does not announce a New Year’s Eve party or a midnight event.
Before you go
- Compare family plans with the event period.
- Check the opening times for your chosen day.
- Do not assume special holiday opening arrangements.
