Planning a festive weekend in Avignon

Keep the arrival day manageable
After arriving and checking in, choose a first venue based on confirmed opening times. Decide later whether there is time to visit the second square. When choosing accommodation, compare access from your station or car park and check late arrival arrangements. The event does not include an accommodation package.
Book heritage visits separately
The Palais des Papes or another cultural visit can complement the trip. Admission is arranged with the attraction itself and should not be confused with the Palais des Glaces event. Use tourist office information to choose places open on your dates, then leave enough time to collect your bags and reach your return transport.

- Leave separate time for the event and city visits.
- Check monument tickets independently.
- Allow a buffer before your journey home.
